In case you’re a One Direction fan and need the perfect way to spend 20 minutes… well, this is it.

I need to get in on this.
I’m at 3/5 right now and on the HUNT for the other two. Yes I’m gay and yes I am a 90’s kid.
…I have all 5 of these.
I remember when they all came out in stores and my father buying complete sets for my brother and myself. He told us that we should keep them in the boxes because they would be worth a lot of money that way someday.
I kept my Spice Girl dolls in their boxes and on display for years, and then one day, when I was, like, 13 or something (basically, probably way too old to be playing with dolls—whatever), I gathered together my Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, and Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls and then took ALL THE SPICE GIRLS DOLLS OUT OF THEIR BOXES and played celebrity VIP after-party or something equally dumb for hours on end. (My life has so much substance…)
If I see a listing on eBay tomorrow for a mint condition in-the-box Spice Girl doll for a million dollars, I don’t even think I’ll care. In retrospect, it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. There’s something to be said for responsibility and planning for the future, but, metaphorically speaking, I never want to be one of those people who keep Spice Girl dolls in a glass case, waiting for them to amass dollar value, especially if all I really want to do is just play with them…
